Louisburg Library is a district library and its own taxing authority, run by a seven-member board of trustees elected by the public at the Annual Meeting. By statute, the Annual Meeting is held the first Tuesday in March. Members serve four-year terms and meet monthly on the fourth Thursday at 6pm in the library conference room.
Anyone interested in receiving an email notification with meeting dates and times and a board packet attachment may submit their request to: [email protected]. It may take up to 72 hours to complete.
Anyone interested in serving on the Louisburg Library Board of Trustees may complete an informational form and submit it to the library director. The forms are available at the library front desk.
