Kansas Reads to Preschoolers

In 2005, Kansas Reads to Preschoolers began as a One-Book/One-State Intergenerational Reading Initiative to highlight the importance of reading to children. Each year, a committee of librarians and educators select a title with the goal of every Kansas child from birth to age five listen to it being read during the week in November. Louisburg Library supports the project by hosting events, visit to preschools and book giveaways during the week. Contact Elizabeth to schedule a visit at your school or daycare.
